Philosophy

René's teaching and research center on equity, inclusion, and collaboration. Drawing from special education, applied behavior analysis (ABA), psychology, and teaching English to speaker of other languages (TESOL), she creates trauma-informed and culturally responsive learning environments while conducting research that strengthens interventions and supports for diverse learners.
